Most people are realising that staying at home 24/7 takes a huge adjustment. It’s a kind of lifestyle change. For how long this will take? We never know. It may seem harsh to develop this sudden habit. No morning jogs in the park, you can’t meet your bestie for a cup of coffee in a café after your yoga session, and you can’t go for the hot date that you’ve planned over a month. But let’s use this to our advantage.
If you’re trying to successfully work from home and entertaining your kids at the same time here are some ideas. But first, what exactly is social distancing? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), social distancing is essential at this period of time. This involves staying at least 1 meter away from other people. Especially if you must leave your home for daily essentials to prevent further spread of covid-19 (coronavirus).

It’s hard to focus on uncertainty and heartache. Worried about what will happen to your career and business. Speaking from experience, we had to shut down our swimming school until further notice. This may last for 2, 3 or even 6 months. So, yes, we are all going insane. Especially when you have children and having to juggle work at the same time. So, parents that are facing difficulty managing that, keep calm and don’t yell at your children. Sometimes, it’s just their way of asking for attention. Make them sit down and have a conversation with them about our current situation.
During these tough times, many are facing a loss of income, jobs, and sanity. At one point, we are too, so we’ve decided to do some research and share with you some fun and creative activities. One of our swimming coaches has an interest in handicraft and gardening. Since we had to shut down the school, she has helped contribute some of these ideas of things to do at home. Covid-19 quarantine puts a huge impact on some of us. Rather than dwelling on what we can’t control, let’s help inspire and motivate one another.
